The Design Process.

Hand Drawn - Hand Painted - Each Tile Unique

When you contact Boniface Studio be prepared to discuss your ideas with Renee. Each project is unique and a work of art custom painted for the client. Trophies or commemorative items for an event will need to be pre-ordered/pre-paid. If you are remodeling or building and want hand-painted tiles for your kitchen or spa, then please consider purchasing the tiles and bringing them to Renee.

Of course she will paint tile murals to match your design. You will need to provide precise measurements, photos, and a description of where the mural will be installed. Again, it is a good idea to work with Renee prior to purchasing your tile.

Renee draws out each design on paper. For custom installations you may be asked to review this drawing and see that it properly fits the area. She then numbers each tile on the back and carefully paints it according to it's placement in the final design. Each tile is coated for durability, however direct abrasive cleansers, scratches, and bright sunlight should be avoided to keep the painting vivid and lively.

Don't forget that Renee will paint dinnerware, teasets, coffee services, small decorative items, and lamps. Each Alaskan home should reflect the awesome natural world around us. Renee's art will enchant and inspire your family and guests.
